Hello everyone! Welcome to Story & Season – our not so average blog. My name is Amanda and I live in the Inland Empire with my wonderful husband, Josiah, and our puppy, Baloo. I’m the oldest of 3 kids (all girls) and have worked in the marketing field for as long as I can remember.
I am a firm believer of car dancing, Hot Cheetos (dream sponsorship btw!), and professional lip syncing. So I guess it goes without saying that I am a very expressive person. I love Jesus and my relationship with him is deeply rooted in who I am today and the foundation that my life is built upon. In Him, I find joy, strength, and love. Brunch is my favorite meal EVER so if you know of any good spots in the LA area, do share!
Although my 16Perssonalities Test labels me as an entertainer, I’m actually a major homebody. I’d rather have a girls night in than out. My happiest is when I’m surrounded by loved ones and hope that this spaces gives you that same feeling. My desire is that this space will give you the encouragement, support, and community you need as you go through life’s seasons. You are worthy. You are loved. You were made with purpose and intention.
Hello, I’m Sharon! I am a designer based in bright and beautiful SoCal with my amazing husband, James. Design has always been a passion of mine and it has been a thrill being able to dive into the field, exploring different creative avenues including graphic design, web design, an interior design.
A couple things about me — I love to find beauty in the unexpected. I appreciate delicate details. I have an unusual obsession with pretty paper. My happy place is the ocean and the piano. My friends and family mean the world to me. I’m a sucker for See’s Candies chocolates (especially their peanut butter patties and dark chocolate chip truffles. GAH). I am a lover and follower of Jesus.
I’ve always dreamt about impacting women in a way that would solidify their sense of purpose and worth. In a culture where comparison and competition has become the norm, our identity often gets mixed up in the pursuit of trying to be someone else, when in fact we’ve already been made perfect from the beginning. My hope is that this community and family would become a haven of encouragement, kindness, creativity, and courage. And I hope you will come to find beauty and strength in each story and season life brings you.
